HOW TO PLAY
Hearts
Avoid hearts and the Queen of Spades while following each trick’s led suit.
Take your turn
- Play one card and follow the led suit whenever you can.
- The highest card of the led suit takes the trick and leads next.
- Each heart is one penalty point; the Queen of Spades is thirteen.
Finish on top
Finish with the fewest penalty points. Taking all 26 penalty points shoots the moon and gives 26 to every opponent.
Play smarter
- Keep low cards in suits where you may be forced to follow.
- Hearts cannot lead until broken unless only hearts remain.
