Nine Men’s Morris
Reduce the opposing side to two pieces or leave it unable to move.
Take your turn
- Place pieces one at a time.
- After placement, slide to an adjacent open point; with three pieces, fly anywhere.
- Form a line of three—a mill—to remove one rival piece.
Finish on top
A side loses with fewer than three pieces or no legal move.
Play smarter
- Keep two ways to complete a mill.
- Break and reform mills to earn removals.
