Four discs begin in the centre of an 8×8 board.

Take your turn

1. Place a disc so a straight line brackets one or more rival discs.
2. Every bracketed disc flips to your colour.
3. If one side has no legal move, its turn passes.

Finish on top

When neither side can move, the side with more discs wins.

• Corners can never be flipped.
• Mobility is often worth more than an early lead.
